National Survey on Hypothermia

Dear Members,

We are pleased to announce the following National Survey on Hypothermia.

Introduction

We believe that accidental hypothermia represents a critical condition with high morbidity and mortality, whose clinical effects include cardiovascular, respiratory, and metabolic dysfunctions, which can worsen underlying conditions and require timely and targeted intervention, both in pre-hospital settings and in critical care areas (ER, Med-Urg, ICUs).

In fact, both AHA and ERC treat hypothermic arrest as a separate case from other causes of cardiac arrest with specific algorithms.
